Zestikart Sellers Policy

Welcome to Zestikart.com! This Seller Policy outlines the rights, responsibilities, and conditions for all sellers on our platform. By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with the terms mentioned below.

1. Registration & Eligibility


  • Any individual/business can register as a seller on Zestikart.

  • GST registration is not mandatory, but sellers crossing the GST threshold must provide a valid GST number.

  • Sellers must provide accurate and complete information (business details, bank details, contact details) during registration.


2. Commission Fee


  • Zestikart charges 10% commission on every successful sale.

  • Commission applies to both:

    • ✅ GST Registered Sellers – Commission will be calculated on the selling price including GST.

    • ✅ Non-GST Sellers – Commission will be calculated only on the selling price.

  • Commission is charged on the product value (excluding shipping charges).

  • Commission is automatically deducted before payout to the seller’s bank account.


3. Product Listing


  • Sellers must provide accurate product information (title, description, price, stock, and images).

  • Listing counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited items is strictly prohibited.

  • Product listings must comply with Indian laws and Consumer Protection guidelines.


4. Order Processing


  • Sellers must process orders within 1–2 business days after receiving them.

  • Delayed shipping or frequent order cancellations may result in penalties or account suspension.


5. Shipping & Packaging


  • Shipping can be handled in two ways:

    1. Seller can ship the order themselves using their preferred courier service.

    2. Shipping through Zestikart’s authorized logistics partners.

  • Safe and secure packaging is the seller’s sole responsibility.

  • Shipping charges will apply as per Zestikart’s policy or the seller’s chosen shipping arrangement.

  • For self-shipping returns, vendors must provide the customer with a prepaid return label or clear courier pickup instructions. Failure to do so may delay returns and refunds, for which the vendor will be solely responsible.”


6. Returns & Refunds


  • Sellers must accept returns if the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • Refunds will be processed as per Zestikart’s Return & Refund Policy.

  • Sellers with a high return rate will be closely monitored.


7. Payments (Payouts)


  • Seller payouts will be processed after deducting commission and applicable charges.

  • Payout cycle is generally 7–10 business days.

  • Payments will only be made to the seller’s registered bank account.


8. Taxes & Compliance


  • GST-registered sellers must charge and deposit GST on invoices.

  • Non-GST sellers will only be subject to commission deduction.

  • Sellers are solely responsible for tax compliance and reporting.


9. Seller Responsibilities


  • Provide correct and updated product details.

  • Ensure timely order processing and shipping.

  • Do not misuse customer information.

  • Never list counterfeit, illegal, or restricted items.


10. Zestikart’s Rights


  • Zestikart reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts violating this policy.

  • Commission rates, policies, and terms may be updated from time to time with prior notice.


11. Dispute Resolution


  • In case of disputes, Zestikart’s decision will be final.

  • All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Basti, Uttar Pradesh, India.
